Earth Care Builds Common Ground
As an author, I write eco-adventure stories in service to the Earth. Stories about harmonious coexistence among humans and our natural world.
As an Master Composter, I have planted milkweed for Monarch butterflies, regenerated soil in California, Virginia, Rhode Island, Italy, and now here on island in Hawaii. Over that time, I learned the value of how the earth heals our souls. I’ve made it my mission to help bring these two pieces together.
How we Build - What To Expect
Every school has a unique context, but I like to dig in with a hands-on approach because touch is one of our greatest senses. From there the fun begins with play and interactive conversations,
We get our hands dirty digging in to make compost with yard clippings and food scraps. Students will learn the simple ways nature regenerates. They will learn about beneficial bugs, and soil biology.
I’ve lived long enough to know I’m not right all the time, so I enjoy working with a diverse team that can bring in new perspectives, and teach me too.
Let’s talk more about what you’re looking for and how I can help.
